THE CAMP - all experience levels will be accepted. We plan on dividing dancers up in groups based on their experience. Focus will be on kicks, leaps and turns with a nice mix of flexibility and choreography. The #1 goal of the camp will be for every participant to have FUN!
BASIC INFO - June 17th through the 20th at Sandpoint Middle School Gym. Camp will start at 9:00 am & go until 12 noon each day. Parents are invited to stay and watch, but can also surely drop off and pick up if that works better.
WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR THIS CAMP? - any 7-13 year old that has danced or thinks they might be interested in dance! No prior experience is necessary. The itinerary will be set up to both assist the beginners and challenge the more experienced dancers.
THURSDAY PERFORMANCE - all parents & friends, etc... are invited to attend our Camp Performance Thursday at 11:30. All of our campers will have a great time showing off some of what they learned during the week!

SANDPOINT - I have lived in Sandpoint for the past seven years. I was a member of the Sandpoint High School Dance Team all four years, as well as the captain my senior year. I was also a runner-up in the Distinguished Young Women's Program. I am excited to return after graduation to open a competitive dance studio. Until then, I want to do what I can to give back to this amazing community. I look forward to meeting the future of Sandpoint Dance at camp!
DROP OFF/PICK UP - Dancers can be dropped off and picked up to 15 minutes before/after camp each day.
FUN - everything we do at the camp will be focused on the dancer's learning, developing skills and having fun. We will also incorporate Daily Contest, Improv Circles and even a Crazy Hair Day! I can't wait!!
WHATS WITH THIS BASKETBALL SCHOOL STUFF? - my dad & brother run the Basketball School of Sandpoint. So I am borrowing some e-space from them.
